Your First Visit
Patients have learned about our practice through a variety of ways. Some have come by a friend or family referral, others by way of our website, and even some have seen us while driving past our office. Take a look through the rest of our website and you will find very important information including our services, forms, patient specials, financial information, payment options, FAQs, a map, our blog and much more. We include dental topics to help educate our patients and inform them about achieving good oral health.
Making Your Appointment
We know that work and school are important to you. We offer early, midday or evening appointments to meet your busy schedule and needs. Making an appointment is easy. Patients are able to contact us in a variety of ways, including:
- CALL: Give us a call at 612-781- 9270. We will offer a date and time that works well with your schedule. We can answer any questions you have.
- CLICK: Go to our website and click on Book Now. It’s as easy at that.
- EMAIL: firstname.lastname@example.org
- STOP BY: You’re welcome to drop in to set up an appointment if you’re in the neighborhood.
We send new patients a New Patient packet in the mail. It contains medical and dental history forms and a registration which are necessary at the time of the appointment. If your appointment is coming up very soon, you may wish to print the forms from the website, complete them and bring to the appointment. You may be asked to come early enough to complete the necessary forms in the office if it was not possible to send it in time by mail and you are unable to print them from the website. As a new patient, you will be greeted, introduced to our team and given a brief tour of our office. We have a Comfort Menu for our patients to choose offerings to make them more at ease including the following amenities:
- Bottled Water
- Lip Moisturizer
- Neck and Lumbar Pillows
- Ear Buds for your Phone
We will discuss your short- and long-term goals for your oral health and answer questions you may have regarding your dental health. If your appointment was made to address an emergency or a specific problem, the appointment will be problem-focused in diagnosing and treating the issue at hand. In the absence of an existing emergency, we will complete an examination and radiographs and, if appropriate, a cleaning. Recommendations for products and homecare will be made and the next appointment will be scheduled. Depending on the services provided at the appointment, Dr. Osterbauer may call to check on the patient’s status in the next day.
The account will be settled at the time of service. We work with many different insurance companies, and we are able to assist our patients with a complimentary insurance benefit check. We always discuss the cost of your treatment and will make sure you understand the financial arrangement prior to completing any treatment. If you wish to pay for your treatment over time, we also offer interest-free options through Care Credit.
Ready to get started? Great! Schedule an appointment online or call us at 612-781- 9270. We look forward to providing you with the best dental care possible and help you to a healthier smile. Welcome home.
