Do you see children in your office?
We love kids and enjoy teaching them about the importance of good oral care. When we have the opportunity to treat children at a young age, we can help them have a stable foundation in great oral health.
When children come to our office, we treat them with kindness and gentleness, and we make dentistry fun for them. When children are involved in their own dental care, they learn to take an active role and discover the importance of good oral hygiene, a healthy diet, and regular trips to the dentist.
If your child doesn’t have any dental problems, we recommend that you bring them in by the age of three for their first dental visit. At three, they are old enough to sit still for their introductory appointment where we will acquaint them with our team and the dental office environment. Since the sights and sounds in the dental office are all new to young children, a no-pressure visit can help them become comfortable so that we can perform an oral exam and polish their teeth.
We also love to help parents get the most out of their time spent on home care. We can go over how to brush and floss your little one’s teeth effectively and efficiently, because we know they don’t like to sit still for long!
